Seoul Economic Daily — Korea's first and most enduring economic newspaper,
celebrating its 66th anniversary this August — proudly presents Seoul Forum
2026, taking place May 27–28 at the Shilla Hotel in the heart of Seoul.

Now in its 17th edition, this year's forum convenes under the theme "New Core,
New Industry." Guided by this theme, Seoul Forum 2026 sets out to illuminate the
profound structural transformation driven by AI, reshaping economies, societies,
cultures, and the very way businesses operate. In doing so, it will also map out the
bold, forward-looking strategies Korea must embrace at both the corporate and
national level to claim its place at the forefront of this new era.

The forum will bring together some of the world's foremost authorities in artificial
intelligence and physical AI. Complementing the main program, dedicated special
sessions will spotlight Korea's brightest AI minds — scholars actively shaping the
field at leading universities both at home and abroad.

Adding a distinct creative dimension to the forum, PIXEL & PAINT — an exclusive
collaboration with a world-renowned artist — along with curated exhibitions and a
series of special programs, will make this year's experience one to remember.
