Seoul Economic Daily and Seoul Economic TV held the award ceremony for the

'Seoul Forum 2026 Key Visual Design Competition' on Thursday, April 9, at the Seoul Economic Daily headquarters.

The contest, held from February 18 to March 19, drew a wide range of outstanding submissions, with the final award recipients selected through a rigorous judging process.

Grand Prize - Kwon Jungryun

The work was highly praised for its geometric composition and well-balanced layout, which conveyed the Seoul Forum's message with a high level of refinement. The judges particularly noted its precise visualization of data flow and momentum radiating outward from a central point, effectively capturing the interconnected flow of technology and industry.

〈Field of the New Core〉

Merit Award | Category A – Design Application - Hwang Seoyeon & Bae Minju

The work was recognized for interpreting the Seoul Forum's message through the metaphor of 'an expanding core,' expressing the scalability of future industries through organically diffusing structures and dynamic three-dimensional graphics.

〈The Living Core〉

Merit Award | Category B – Open Design - Lee Hyun Been

The piece captured 'Core' — the central keyword of Seoul Forum 2026 — through the image of a living heart, earning praise for its bold visuals and expressive forms that powerfully conveyed the energy and centrality of industry.
